These inserts are made to fit existing chrome bases having stamp number DOTB 16720 A.
Please inquire about a used base or bases if needed as I do have them available as I can find them.
(Note) To eliminate removing the cowl base to check for the stamp numbers the above mentioned correct base will measure roughly 146 mm x 15 mm I.D.

Because these trucks have been around for many years, vehicles could have parts replaced from different optioned trucks and model years. It is quite possible any of these emblem types listed may or may not be currently found on trucks matching our application information. The emblems and or inserts mentioned here are primarily used on and designed for use with the original chome bases found on selected Ford trucks from 1970-1972. Similar trucks using this particular body style had a production run from 1967-1972. Could these emblems or inserts be used on Ford trucks other than 1970,1971,1972 ? Most certainly..
Since our emblem inserts are mounted on exterior surfaces, exposed to a great deal of sunlight and could be used in various regions and climates, we have found that not all colors withstand sunlight the same. Color fading may, may not or could occur at different intervals.
